MEET THE IMAGINATION SHAKERS TEAM
Ankia – Founder of Imagination Shakers
Ankia is a mother of two girls aged 15 and 12, married for 17 years and a Christian. Ankia attained her National Diploma in Public Relations from Tshwane University of Technology in 1994. Her career/life experience includes exhibition trade shows (3 years), conferencing (17 years) and Sunday school teacher (8 years). It was her volunteering at church that made her realise that children have a unique place in her heart. She was adamant that her next life goal will be to create an environment where children can be children without day-to-day pressures, giving birth to Kids Holiday Camps. In December 2015 Ankia stepped out in faith and registered Imagination Shakers. With her foot firmly on the accelerator Ankia has wasted no time in creating events for children to have good old-fashioned-fun in a tech-free environment. Her first event was a roller skating evening at her local church.
The motto she lives by:
“AND WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, TO THOSE WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE”
Sudhira – Co-founder
Obtained her Diploma in Journalism in 2004 and was in the corporate world in organising international and local events for over 10 years. After realising that her true passion lies in the development and mentoring of children, she traded in her desk job for the outdoors doing Kids Holiday Camps as Co-Founder of Imagination Shakers. Sudhira is a Christian and dedicated in spreading His truth.

The mentors we recruit, will have a heart for children, be a helping hand, a friendly smile, showing patience and encouragement to inspire each child to reach their own personal best. See our list of activities where kids won’t be expected to compete in being number one but instead just have fun. They are exposed to enough pressure during the school term this is a time for them to re-charge and play.
Outdoor Fitness: sunrise volleyball and hikes as part of the daily routine.
Evening Bible reading: educating children on the truth about God and where their strength lies
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE TEAM
Your child will be attended to 24 hours a day by the Imagination Team at the Holiday Camp.
Boys and girls will sleep in separate areas with a minimum of one mentor sharing and caring for the kids in each area. The minimum “3-alone” rule applies throughout. Children are accommodated according to age.
A requirement for all the Kids Holiday Camp attendees is for the child to keep a diary of their daily activities and experiences. This is to ensure that you can share in their adventures.
